Pictures albums: One of the most important tool for ladies to share their hair journeys

Blogs: A blog is an online diary where people can post messages and others may view and respond to the posts. This feature gives you the possibility to be heard! Keep a hair journal, post your hair routine for others to see or even tutorials it’s all up to you and your creativity. If you already have your hair related or Caribbean targeted blog, you can either use the RSS feed to integrate your blog with your page or duplicate its content and let members comment directly from the network.

Comments: We all love comments. CNHS supports the positive vibes that the ladies bring to the network. Members can post comments for other members’ pictures, blogs, pages, videos, groups, and calendar events.

Videos: CNHS offers the possibility to post your own videos. Use videos to post tutorials, video blog updates, reviews or any fun video you might like to share with the ladies.

Chat room: Join the CNHS Chat send instant messages to any member that is online. This feature is not found on other natural hair related sites as most of the time members have to send a message via guest book or message box. Having this feature gives you the possibility to socialize and get answers to urging questions about natural hair.

Event Calendar: With the Event Calendar you can post your special events that you would like to share with the rest of the community like your planned Big Chop date, Nappiversary, birthday, Natural Hair shows, etc.

Favorites: Sometimes you find a video or picture that you like but there is no easy way to save them other than bookmarking or saving to your computer. Now you can simply add any video or picture on the network to your favorites and conveniently view them whenever you want.

Friends: If you happen to come across an inspirational napptural sista, add her as a friend! Once you add someone as a friend you can send messages to them. ( this may differ for each members privacy setting)

Groups: Create or join a group. Ideas for groups can range from geographic location, hair type, occupation or a group like FOTKI-HOLICS which is a group for all the ladies who are also members of the photo sharing site Fotki.

Messages: Don’t be afraid to ask a question or update your friends by sending a message.

Customizable “My Page”: Besides your profile you have a special area which supports HTML. You can add pictures, slideshows, gadgets, videos, or anything else you can think of. Customize your page using your own cascading style sheet (CSS), add RSS feeds and receive comments on your personal comment wall. Your page items can also be moved around to your liking.

Rating: Sometimes you find a picture or video and you may think this picture is just great! Besides posting a comment rate the item to let others know what you thought of it.

RSS: There are several pages on the network that has RSS feeds. Add the feeds to your personal website or page by using your favorite widget.

Invitations: So you think CNHS is such a cool place that you want to invite your friends? Click on the option to invite friends from your email provider and introduce them to the network.

Sharing: Sharing pictures is easy with CNHS. Member or not you can share pictures. ( members have more sharing options)

Advertising and Sponsoring: As of now, CNHS does not have this service but hopefully in the future this will be possible.
